The Vehicle  Above is The Populer Stretched Limousine We See on our Streets Now on a Daily Basis, Imported from America to our Uk Roads they are very Populer these days for school proms and childrens birthday parties these vehicles must also be licensed as a Private Hire Vehicle And Must Hold what is Classsed As a Iva Which Is Our Goverments Head Of Transport Organisation Vosa Terms And Conditions This Vehicle Would Have Been Crash Tested To Meet European Standards . This Vehicle was Originally Made As A StandardVehicle Or Sedan And Has Been Purchased By The Coach Builder And Stretched by The Coach Builder To Enable More Room And Comfort And To Allow For The Drinks Bar To Be Fitted And All Luxery Extras Etc.

The Chassis Will Have Been Altered And Stretched To Fit The New Size Vehicle And This All Has To Be Checked Before Being Allowed On To Our Public Roads And Used As A Public Service Vehicle in The Uk or Europe.

Stretched Hummer Very Populer Limousines Especially Wedding Hire Because of The Amount Of People These Vechiles Can Hold And Transport.

16 Seator Maximum For Uk Law.

These Vehicles Must Also Be Licensed As A Public Service Vehicle Commonly Known As A PSV And The Operator of This Vehicle Must Hold A Full Psv Operators Licence To Operate Such A Vehicle.

The Driver Must Also Hold A Psv Licence Which is a Seperate Licence To a Normall Car Driving Licence Basically a Bolt On To His Excisting Car Driving Licence He Or She Would Have Undertaken A Vigrous Driving Test And Training To Pass Such a Test The Same Rules And Regulations As A Bus Or Coach Driver Who Cannot Drive For More Than 4 Hours Continous Driving Before a Rest Period Of At Least 30 Mins Before The Journey Can Recommence And Not More Than 8 Hours Driving Across The day Altogeather , These Rules And Regulations Must Be Adherd To At All Times And are Enforced By Having Tachographs Fitted To The Vehicle Which Monitors The Drivers Working Hours.

All Vehicles Used On Our Public Roads Today Must be Licensed And There is Only one Excemption To The Rules And Regulations And This is for Wedding Car Hire only where the vehicle and the Chauffeur does not have to be licensed but this limits the Private Hire Company To Carry out Wedding Car Hires Only.

You might ask yourself why

The Reason for this is Because There are still a Lot of Vintage Cars On Our Uk Roads being used for private use as well as Weddings and  these vehicles would not meet our vigorous Mot And Safety Checks As Modern Technology Has Moved On Some What Since 1912 for Excample when some of these Vintage Cars Where Built,You would have to agree if it meant taking away some of Englands Last Bit of Heritage In The Motor Industry would be very sad.

But Most weddings are local to where the bride and groom live so the vintage car being used would not be covering lots of miles and most Wedding Vintage Car Hire is Completed Within 3 Hours.

I  Hope You have enjoyed reading this Blog As Much as i have enjoyed Writing It And Feel Free To ask Me Any Questions You May Have which includes the General Public And Webmasters And Bloggers Alike.
